Ramsey REP-6000 Winch

The REP6000 Ramsey Winch was used on all the Jurassic Park Jeeps. Some of the main components typically required to restore a winch to its former glory include a new cable, tie-rods, and decals.

The winch is mounted to a winch plate, which is then installed onto the front of the Jeep. A good winch plate can be purchased from Harbor Freight. You will spacer blocks or a stack of washers on the underside of the winch plate in order to make room for installing. On the winch plate, there is also a fairlead.

Furthermore, there are custom tow-hooks that are attached to the winch plate as well.
