Overview

The Pelican case used in Jurassic Park is a King Pelican 1600 (grey) case. It's contents included a searchlight, flares, and a fire extinguisher.

The notable screen accurate features include a non-folding handle, black purge valve located directly below the handle, and the lack of "fins" on the corners of the case.

There are other variations of the King Pelican 1600 that are very close to screen accurate but not 100%. Some cases may have fins on the corners, but these can easily be shaved down to bring it closer to screen accuracy. Additionally, some King Pelican cases will not have a purge valve.

The video below discusses the King Pelican 1600 as well as its contents.
